User Flow
This is from the view of a physician the user flow is starting from the homescreen on the left.
This shows the Physician searching for a patient by the service type needed, then going to homehealth list page where its organized by distance from the current user.
On the far right is the homepage for the facility, where details regaurding the facility can be seen.
On the second row is the search screen that can be filtered using location, insurance, facility type, and specialty type.
Development of Mock Ups
These screens are from the mockups that I created and modified over time
This was a challenge because I am unsure of any competing applications that are trying to do the same thing. The client did have a good idea of what they wanted it to look, so I was able to use Yelp and Airbnb as reference. With the information I was given I think I managed to create something that met the specifications they were looking for and give a start to the development of the application.
What I Learned
Creating this prototype was a little different becuase it was a client had a lot of ideas of what they wanted the application to look like. I knew only what they wanted it to do and didn’t end up seeing any usability testing, however from the process I did learn how to take in criticism and come out with a polished version.
